About the volunteering opportunity
Do you want to get involved in the integration of people with a newcomer/migration backround? Are you generally interested in other cultures? Do you enjoy working with and speaking to other people 2 hours a week?
The Malteser Hilfsdienst e.V. is looking for volunteers to support the language café in various areas.

Your Tasks
- Support with integration and language courses
- Language assistance with everyday problems
- Exchange and communication
- Playing together, cooking and other activities, handicrafts
- Preparation of current topics, group leadership
What's needed
- regularly available and reliable
- understanding and tolerance for other people's life situations
- empathy and open-mindedness
- regular participation in group meetings
Time required
Important notice
For the work with people with a migration and newcomer background, it is important to us that volunteers provide a certificate of good conduct (we are happy to help with the application).
Volunteers at Malteser Hilfsdienst are also trained on the topic of protection against sexualized violence and attend a first aid course.
