About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for people with a passion for organizing events as volunteer support to plan and execute various event formats for older people in Berlin.
As part of our dedicated team, you will have the unique opportunity to bring young and old people together and create memorable experiences.
Your Tasks
We plan events for special occasions such as Easter, summer excursions, International Day of Older Persons on October 1 and during the Christmas season, as well as small regular events such as coffee rounds, among others. Your creativity and organizational skills are needed to design inspiring and perhaps even innovative events and to ensure that these events run smoothly.

Important notice
Our events are specifically designed to target lonely elderly people over the age of 75 who have a visiting partnership with Friends of the Elderly. Many of these individuals are limited in their mobility due to their limited mobility. This limitation presents us with challenges in implementing some events, such as requiring a transportation service for the elderly. For this reason, it is not possible, for example, to offer certain events such as dance events.
