About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for volunteers who can actively support our donation collection team.
We collect book donations every week, mostly from private households, and are looking for help with packing and carrying boxes of books. For all those who like to exercise without going to the gym.

Your Tasks
- Accompaniment of pick-up trips (several hours)
- At the households: Packing the book donations into boxes, transporting the boxes into the car

Depending on how much time you have, you can come along once or several times a week, for example. We will be happy to discuss this with you.

You yourself do not need to drive and do *not* need a driver's license.
Where?
Berliner Büchertisch e.V.
Our vision: Reading should be affordable for everyone - independent from his or her age, salary, social status or origin. That’s why the Büchertisch as a non-profit association supports libraries in schools, kindergartens, prisons and many other institutions. We also work in different projects to help children to access books and reading materials.
Moreover we supply various stations for free books throughout Berlin. In creating jobs and apprenticeships for people from various social backgrounds – from former homeless people to young professionals – we try to give people new perspectives.
