SkF Familienpatenschaften
Pregnancy and the birth of a child are not easy for many families. A baby demands a lot of care and attention, 24 hours a day. In families with several children, the parents have to do justice to all of them and often find that they no longer have time for themselves or for important errands. These families are supported by specialists for a certain period of time. Volunteer family mentors are often requested to provide support beyond this period. This is where you come in - contact us and become a family mentor!

Your support helps
.... families in challenging life situations in everyday life. Regular contact with the whole family or individual family members creates trusting relationships that provide relief in everyday life.
The tasks of a mentor are as varied as the families themselves. In addition to joint outings and visits to the playground, you can support your sponsored family with shopping or visits to the doctor. It is also possible to network with help services in the district and accompany them when they visit the authorities. Older children may appreciate help with their homework or you can practise German with a parent. For many families, it is important that the mentor is available to listen to everyday worries and needs.
