Taste of Malawi e.V.
Taste of Malawi e.V. is a global learning project consisting of an offsite volunteering team that supports a tailoring project in Malawi and thus accompanies women on their way to independence. Our women in Malawi learn tailoring skills as well as business skills and other abilities to earn their living after the training. Since we are an international team, we work together primarily digitally, which is exciting, sometimes very creative and above all very enriching!

Target group(s)
Taste of Malawi thrives on its energetic team members. Coming from different sectors and from different points in our lives – from high school graduates who are still orientating themselves before starting university to members who have both feet on the ground in professional life – we all contribute on what we already know and learn from each other in the process.
Our global cooperation enables a very special form of volunteering - digital and therefore always accessible from anywhere.

Funding
As a non-profit organization we are financially dependent on donations and funds. As a second pillar, we have just recently founded our own fashion brand INO. The profits from the sales go 100% into the financing of our project in Malawi.
Objectives
At Taste of Malawi we desire to
- support the local women in the project on their way to an independent life through further education.
- offer them a broad network of contacts.
- facilitate our volunteers the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice.
