About the volunteering opportunity
usually once a week, you will help a schoolchild in a refugee shelter in Pasing with their learning. This often involves the subjects German and math, where there is a need for practice.
Before starting the job, you will have the opportunity to get to know the child, their family and the accommodation. There is professional support from the local teachers. Most of the children speak German well, but there are currently some newly arrived children who still barely speak German.
