About the volunteering opportunity

The nursing home am Plänterwald offers 140 residents with care grades I to V a home in Treptow-Köpenick. The residents appreciate the lively and sociable atmosphere in the home: many different events enrich everyday life.

Can you sing, play the guitar or keyboard?

From January 2025, we are looking for a volunteer to sing and make music together with the residents. Usually 20 - 25 residents take part in these choir meetings.

Music is said to have a positive effect on people with dementia.
Singing is helpful for dementia in many ways.
