About the volunteering opportunity

We are looking for a volunteer with experience in video editing and graphic design with great creativity who wants to help us create and improve our print and digital materials and videos.

Your Tasks

  • Edit and produce video content for various platforms including web, social media, and campaigns.
  • Create graphics for digital and print media.
  • Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and motion graphics that enhance video productions.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure cohesive content.

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
Our materials are produced mainly in English, which is also our working language, thus very good English skills are a prerequisite. Knowledge of German and other languages would be an asset.

The volunteer work can be done remotely, but it is mandatory to reside in Germany, candidates residing outside Germany will not be considered.

The time dedicated to volunteering is flexible and can be done during the week or on weekends (as preferred). However, it is important that the person attends at least one of our online team meetings during the week.

European Alliance Against Depression

The European Alliance Against Depression (EAAD) is an international non-profit organisation based in Leipzig, Germany, with several members and more than 100 regional network partners in Europe, Canada, Chile and Australia.

The main aim of the European Alliance Against Depression is to improve care and optimise treatment for patients with depressive disorders and to prevent suicidal behaviour. It was established in 2008 by a number of mental health experts from different European research institutions in order to sustain the EU-funded EAAD projects (2004-2008). The EAAD is involved in several European research projects targeting depression and suicide prevention.
