About the volunteering opportunity
We organize and accompany trips for people with disabilities, assistance and care needs. Travel for our target group is 3-4 times more expensive than for people without disabilities because the accommodation and excursion destinations have to meet special accessibility requirements. In addition, our travel guests often require 1:1 care, which is provided by volunteers. Accommodation and meals must also be paid for the accompanying person.
Low-income travel guests can receive a subsidy towards the travel costs through our support association. The support association finances these subsidies from donations from private individuals, companies and grants.

Your Tasks
We are looking for active support for our support association in the acquisition of potential donors and sponsors and in researching new sources of funding.
Possible tasks are

- Approaching private individuals for one-off or long-term donations (e.g. supporting membership, donations instead of gifts...)
- Approaching companies for one-off donations (e.g. at Christmas) or long-term cooperation & support (e.g. donations of leftover cents, promoting the association within the company)
- Research for new sources of funding
- Implementation of individual ideas, e.g. fundraising campaigns on campaign days
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
You will receive training on the content of our association and sponsoring organization in advance. You should be communicative and have a professional demeanor towards companies.

Urlaub & Pflege is a non-profit tour operator that specializes in trips for people with assistance and care needs. Thanks to 1:1 care, care can be provided up to care level 5 and also for people with dementia.
