About the volunteering opportunity

The Young Economy Club e.V. is a non-profit initiative that is committed to free practical economic education and equal opportunities. We connect young people with relevant actors from business, politics and society in order to actively involve them in political processes and make economic issues accessible.

The Public Affairs team plays a key role in the association's political communication and representation of interests. Our aim is to strategically position the Young Economy Club in political and social debates, promote exchange with stakeholders and make our issues visible to the public. We analyze political developments, identify relevant decision-making processes and shape external communication with political institutions, NGOs and civil society.

Your Tasks

As part of the Public Affairs team, you will develop strategies for political communication and advocacy in order to introduce our topics into the public debate in a targeted manner. You will analyze political developments, identify relevant decision-making processes and develop positions on economic and social issues.

A central part of your work is networking with political actors, organizations and decision-makers in order to position the Young Economy Club as a relevant voice in the political debate. You will help to draft statements, policy papers or position papers that clearly communicate our positions.

You will also develop strategies for public affairs and advocacy campaigns to create targeted attention for our issues. Working closely with the editorial and marketing team, you will ensure that our messages are disseminated via various channels.
