About the volunteering opportunity

Do you love bringing people together through creative events? Are you well-connected in Berlin’s cultural scene and excited to build something from the ground up? Join Wellbeing for Everyone as a Volunteer Event Manager and help us develop a new series of low-barrier community events at the No52 Pavillon at Boxhagener Platz!

This is your chance to design and launch creative evening events, such as sofa concerts, open mic nights, film screenings, creative workshops, storytelling nights, or interactive jam sessions. The goal is to create an inclusive, welcoming space for connection and creativity—something that fits the local community and makes people feel at home.

Your Tasks

As a Volunteer Event Manager you will:

  • Develop the Event Concept together with us: Conduct a needs assessment to understand what kind of creative events best fit the location and community.
  • Build a Team or activate our volunteers: Recruit other volunteers to support event planning and execution.
  • Find Artists & Performers: Connect with musicians, filmmakers, creatives, and storytellers who would love to participate.
  • Manage Event Logistics: Organize schedules, coordinate with artists, and ensure smooth execution.
  • Promote the Events: While our marketing team will support you, we’d love to leverage your network to spread the word!
You’ll work closely with our team, and our Art Director will design the flyers, so you can focus on making the events a success!

Wellbeing for Everyone gUG

"Wellbeing for Everyone" is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting diversity, wellbeing and social inclusion through creative methods at various locations in Berlin.

We are committed to giving socially disadvantaged people a sense of belonging, promoting their personal growth and creating a strong sense of cohesion within communities. To achieve this, we use art, music and movement as interactive methods. These help to create a positive group feeling, connections and even friendships between people who did not know each other before.

Our programs and workshops aim to promote resilience and counteract problems caused by discrimination and social isolation. We also develop concepts in international exchange projects to increase well-being and a sense of belonging in various disadvantaged communities.

In our new project, we are expanding our approach. We creatively generate a shared ecological awareness and thus strengthen a sense of belonging and social cohesion.
