About the volunteering opportunity
Learning from and with each other as equals and helping people to help themselves are two of the goals of our support program. We offer support from the moment they arrive in Berlin to their actual integration, so that we can ensure their long-term inclusion in our society.
To make participation a reality, we organize a wide range of events during the week and at weekends, both in Spandau and throughout Berlin. The offer is broad: street festivals, handicrafts, workshops and much more. We are looking for your support.
Your Tasks
Are you creative, flexible, spontaneous and keen to experience participation together with people with a refugee or migration background?
You can provide support at various events, even at short notice, help organize and run street festivals and other large events, organize craft afternoons, plan workshops and other interactive activities. There are many different ways to get actively involved.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
We would like it if you are open to people from other cultures, interested in intercultural exchange and keen to organize and plan.
You are convinced that every person has an inalienable dignity. You have a respectful attitude towards the Christian faith and other religions and world views.
Time required
Mon-Thu, possibly also at weekends.
