About the volunteering opportunity

Youmocracy e.V. has set itself the goal of promoting non-partisan exchange and strengthening a lively culture of debate through discussion events throughout Germany. In order to achieve this goal, we train young people between the ages of 16 and 27 to become democracy ambassadors as part of our non-profit scholarship program. During the three-month training phase, we provide them with the necessary knowledge and equip them with all the important tools to enable them to independently organize and moderate discussion events. In this way, we want to bring people with different political viewpoints into a respectful exchange.

Your Tasks

In the scholarship team, you will support us in the acquisition of new democracy ambassadors and help us to make the scholarship program even better known. You will also support us in researching potential cooperation partners and external speakers in order to offer the democracy ambassadors an exciting and varied training program.

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
