Support in the preparation of project and price applications

The great vision of youmocracy is to inspire more young people throughout Germany to actively engage with socio-political issues and become politically active. Through your work, you will help to create the financial basis for the activities of youmocracy e.V. and thus indirectly promote a lively, non-partisan exchange. You will help to finance the current scaling areas of youmocracy through prizes and project funding and can draw on existing materials as well as creatively develop new ideas for financing. Through your commitment, you will enable the future of youmocracy and strengthen the values of an open and respectful culture of discussion.

In the youmocracy acquisition team, we work in sprints on current project calls. The team is always on the lookout for current tenders for prizes or project funding and keeps each other up to date on what is currently happening in the ecosystem of democracy-promoting organizations. Suitable calls are shared in the team channel and then assigned to one to three team members depending on their availability. The team works creatively on developing new acquisition ideas as well as adapting previous applications to new calls. The tenders vary between approx. 1,000 and 100,000€ and the documents to be prepared must meet the highest standards in terms of structure, content and language. We are a dynamic team that has already raised more than €200,000 for our association's activities in the past.

A monthly team meeting is held for regular exchanges. In between, communication takes place via Slack and in bilateral agreements with other team members and the head of Team Acquisition.
