About the volunteering opportunity
This project brings people together who want to spend their free time together. The monthly regulars' table in a café prepares an inclusive, barrier-free space to get to know likeable fellow Cologne residents and to plan excursions, museum, sports and concert visits together.
Your Tasks
Leisure activities once or twice a month with people who do not dare to go out on their own in the city: People with disabilities or senior citizens. The focus is always on common interest. Tandems are formed at eye level.
The time frame is about 4 hours per month. The regulars' table always takes place on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 18.00 to 20.00 in the café. And still approx. 2 hours for the planned event.

- Interest in people and 2 to 4 hours of time per month

The Office for Civic Commitment of the AWO Cologne is a consulting service. People who are willing to volunteer will receive advice and will be placed in organisations that work with volunteers. Further priority will be given to LESEMENTOR Cologne, young volunteers, further education and voluntary refugee work.
