Sale of upcycling textiles in the house of materialization
Berliner Stadtmission
About the volunteering opportunity
The Berliner Stadtmission adheres to the valid hygiene protection specifications and also implements other specifications. These are reviewed on an ongoing basis and adjusted as necessary
In June 2021, we started a Re-Use Center for climate-friendly use of resources at Alexanderplatz with project partners in the House of Materialization.
From donations we also receive clothes that are unfortunately not suitable for the clothing store or for sale in our neighborhood shops due to damage, wear marks, etc.. If these clothes have a high material quality, we sell them in our material pool for textile upcycling at a price per kilo.
Your Tasks
You take care of the material issue and the sale of the textiles. The prices are calculated by weight with the help of the cash register - so you don't haveo do much calculating yourself.
