About the volunteering opportunity
Once a month on Saturdays, the farm for learning at Hofgut Oberfeld offers an open baking day. All visitors can bake there brought breads, rolls, pizzas, tarte flambée, etc. in our wood-fired clay oven and enjoy in great atmosphere in the garden.
It starts at 11 o'clock with the construction of some tables and benches as well as the firing of the furnace and the preparation. Around 13 o'clock, the oven has reached its full heat, which is optimal for pizzas and tarte flambée. From 14 o'clock the rolls, breads, etc. follow with subsequent dismantling around 16 o'clock.
Your Tasks
We are looking for helpers who would like to support us on our baking days. Maybe you also have recipes or doughs that you always wanted to bake in a clay oven?

Important notice
Our hygiene concept is based on the current Corona regulations of the state of Hesse.
Currently (08.03.22), no negative Corona test is required. Mouth-nose covering is to be worn indoors, not outdoors.
