Rapproject for refugees: Support our social media team

Rapper* Ohne Grenzen is an initiative in which refugees are taught German by rappers by writing, analyzing and performing lyrics together. The project was launched in Berlin in 2019. It's easy to understand why it's more fun to learn a new language with your favorite music. This has resulted in a mentorship concept. If you want to get an idea, this video will help.

We have since also been to youth centers and a home for refugees. The direct contact with the musicians is exciting for the young people. At the same time, it is valuable that their creativity is encouraged by helping them to write lyrics themselves.

Whether you only have a few hours a month or more to spare to participate in a cool project: Get in touch and we'll see if we're a good fit. Age, gender, background are irrelevant. We're happy if you're in Berlin, but you can definitely help out digitally from anywhere as well.

Community Ambassador
You have contact with rappers, explain the project to them and make contacts who want to participate. From time to time you plan small events where the participants get to know each other. You get to know exciting people and use your organizational skills in new fields!

Content Creator*in
With your creativity and (in the best case) a little experience, you support the social media section of the project. This can multiply the number of people reached. Since we do not yet have an expert for this in the team, it would be great to work with someone who can develop their own concept.

Supporter*in Public Relations
You write texts so that the project can move forward and reach even more people: Press work and applications for new subprojects. In the team there is already some experience in this area, so you can learn a lot and get regular feedback!
