About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for new graphic designers for our lightup family. We are a motivated young team and would be happy if you would like to use your design skills to emotionalize and convey our messages.
Your Tasks
- Focus: Together with another graphic designer, you will regularly design story and post graphics for our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn).
- If required, you adapt the corresponding graphics for our website.
- If required, you also create graphics for separate post series/social media campaigns on a specific topic (see our series "Loverboy-Masche” oder “Fair Gifts").
- You give your input to our social media team (suggestions for improvement, ideas for the graphic implementation of topics ...).
- If required, you also design print media, such as annual reports.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.

Hey, we are lightup
As a youth organization, we shed light on the reality of human trafficking, labor and sexual exploitation in order to reduce demand and prevent young people from becoming victims of exploitation themselves through prevention work.
In doing so, we rely on the young generation: we believe that the attitude, voice and actions of young people are enormously important when it comes to ending abuses like human trafficking and exploitation. That's why we encourage and empower young people to become active for change and give them a platform to use their ideas, talents and skills to fight against exploitation and for freedom.
lightup raises awareness and informs through workshops and social media, engages in public and political debates, and empowers young people to start local teams, events, and creative projects.
As an organization, we have no religious or party political affiliation.
