About the volunteering opportunity
As self-helpfor working-age cancer survivors we provide support to regain a foothold in everyday (work) life. The community helps us cope with the new challenges after cancer treatment. To see that it is similar to others, relieves and strengthens. This is how we developed the Workshops Back to Work after Cancer with KOBRA. As advocacy group, we advocate for greater social participation of working-age cancer survivors, e.g. as a member of the Patient Advisory Board of the Charité Comprehensive Cancer Center. With the cancer information service KID, we collaborated on a brochure explaining how to successfully defend against early retirement from health insurance.
To report even more comprehensively on betterplace.org about our activities and to raise funds, we need support.
