About the volunteering opportunity
Our residents receive support in all areas of everyday life in our shared accommodations. We help them to find their way through the German bureaucracy and together we develop all the necessary skills to get along well. One of the last steps to self-determination, is having an own apartment. In Leipzig, this is not always such an easy task, which is why we need you to support us as a volunteer.
You support one or more residents in finding their own home in Leipzig. This can include the joint search for suitable housing advertisements, as well as help in communicating with landlords. Assistance with translating or preparing before a viewing can also be part of the task. Accompaniment to an apartment inspection is also possible. The support can also take place online mostly.
