Reading patrons wanted for reading children - location-independent via reading app possible

We are looking for volunteer reading mentors. Through weekly 45-minute reading sessions via our reading app, you make a valuable social contribution to the promotion of reading. You'll be amazed at how quickly your "reading child" progresses, as the 1:1 reading situation is particularly effective in promoting reading skills while increasing the child's cognitive performance. What's more, the joint meetings will be a lot of fun!

Listen to the reading child during a digital reading appointment and give tips. All reading mentors receive onboarding and our team advises them on how to get started.

Reading patrons must present an extended police clearance certificate (which can be obtained free of charge with a volunteer certificate provided by us) and have a lot of fun working with children and reading.

The digital reading appointments should take place in the afternoon and are coordinated individually with the reading child. You can work remotely, because we let the reading appointments take place via reading app. You should have 45 minutes per week for your reading child and we ask you to be active for at least 6 months, because the relationship with the reading child has to develop first.

To become a reading mentor, you should have a tablet or laptop with an internet connection.
