About the volunteering opportunity
To continue to align ourselves professionally, we are looking for a volunteer for the area of science on microplastics/microfibers.
Your Tasks
- Contribute to the upcoming new campaign "Microplastics in Fashion" in the scientific field and help with research and set up of educational texts on microplastics/microfibers
- Ocean. Now! collaborates with scientists closely, we make an effort to communicate scientific insights in public easily as we regard this as important
- Languages: English and German
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
- You are an expert in one of the following scientific fields: Microplastics, microfibers, chemistry, marine biology
- You are curious about new scientific findings in the above-mentioned fields
Time required
Project-based
3-5 hours per week
Important notice
We work internally with the tools Slack, Google Drive and Notion.

This project is location independent.

Ocean. Now! is a non-governmental organization that promotes the protection of the ocean at all levels of society. We work with concept art and create powerful images to address decision makers in business and politics. In parallel, we organize children's ocean workshops to give the next generation a voice.
