christmas time is a special time. Festivities are celebrated, usually with family and friends. But quite a few people also feel very lonely at this time of year. That's why this year we would like to offer a Christmas dinner for people in our neighborhood at our "Gemeinsam im Kiez leben" community meeting point. We need your support to make the Christmas dinner possible.

Briefly about us and our work: The "Gemeinsam im Kiez leben" community meeting place is an inclusive neighborhood meeting place in Alt-Hohenschönhausen Süd. We organize free or very affordable offers and events for people from the neighbourhood. We are looking for computers to help people in Ukraine to stay connected and so that children can stay in school remotely. They are really very important. We can coordinate with our volunteers for a better collection.

We are always happy to receive new donations for our donation-based clothing store.
At the moment we are trying to stow away the winter clothes to make room for summer clothes!

Please make sure that the clothes are washed, clean and in good used condition or even as good as new. Please also sort them and label them according to size. This helps our volunteers enormously when unpacking and sorting. We are also happy to accept older clothing if it is still in good condition.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept clothes with tears and holes as we do not have the capacity or facilities (sewing machine etc.) to repair them.

Socks, underwear and baby clothes are also very welcome, as they go quickly. You are also welcome to donate something that you buy new for us, such as underpants for children or socks.

If you have other items to donate, you are also welcome to write to us. Baby carriages, sleeping bags, baby equipment, toys and many other things are also very much needed.

We're very worried about Marcelino and Winnetou at the moment: they are ill and even our vet is at a loss. The two of them are eating their food aplenty and are still losing weight. We would like to ask you to donate food to get them back on track: Hay cobs, carrots, bananas, apples, meadow cobs, malt beer, naturally cloudy apple juice with no added sugar or mash are more than welcome!

We run a voluntary daycare center for the children in our accommodation for children without a daycare place. The existing toys and craft and painting materials are getting a bit outdated. We are happy about new things. Actually, we are happy about everything except stuffed animals. We have enough of those :)

Every year, we hold a small internal Christmas market for our employees. There is always a raffle at this event. For the raffle, we collect small gifts, promotional material and sweets in advance to offer them as prizes. To win, you have to spin a wheel of fortune. Then you can choose something from a category.

We are looking for a serviceable older tractor model for cultivating our meadows.

We are building a raised bed at our children's house and still need the following material:

we are a young association that wants to make inclusion a normal part of everyday life. Since April we finally have our first own rooms and need appropriate equipment.

We are looking for children in one of our shelters for refugee women:

- Picture books
- Children's books
- Building blocks and Lego
- Utensils for the children's kitchen
- Toy cars
- Dolls
- Games (no puzzles!)
- Skittles game (9 skittles and ball)

We also need paper at the Red Cross.
For disaster operations as well as for medical operations:
Driving orders, deployment orders, injury log, the deployment diary: in an emergency we write in analog form, in a disaster we don't know how or if there is electricity!

Help the voluntary civil protection sector to save costs with A4 or A3 copy paper.

We are still looking for bicycles in mint condition or in very good condition for 2 "medium-sized" paramedics.
The paramedics will use them to accompany the skaters at the Dresden Night Skate and can thus be with an injured person more quickly.
We are looking for bikes that we can really rely on, with good gears and mudguards in case of rain.
Pannier racks are not so important as we have ambulance rucksacks with us.

We are looking for old clothes that are still in really good condition and can be given to people in need in our second-hand store,
we also take old clothes that are no longer so good, which are then passed on to a recycler. We use the proceeds to finance our second-hand store.

One project participant likes to go to the hall on Sundays to play soccer with other people from different countries. This is where he connects and interacts with other people. He was homeless for a long time and was able to find a new apartment last year through Housing First Stuttgart. It can be quite lonely here sometimes, so the soccer club is important to him. Unfortunately, he no longer has indoor shoes, so he is currently unable to attend the club. His income (income support) is currently not enough to buy new shoes, so we are looking for a pair of indoor shoes in good condition for him.

Some of our project participants apply for jobs after moving into their own apartment. Unfortunately, this is not particularly easy with just an older type of smartphone. We are therefore looking for laptops that still work but are no longer needed. These will be donated directly to the people formerly affected by housing and homelessness. If necessary, our Housing First Stuttgart project team will help you set up and use them.

For our children's rooms, we are happy to receive various craft materials with which the children in our home for homeless people can express their creativity: colorful paper, pencils, brushes, paint, glue, fabrics, etc.
