In-kind donation requests

To maintain and preserve our orchard meadow and other habitats, we need a car trailer to transport tools, grass clippings, compost, and much more.
The trailer can be used, but it should have a gross vehicle weight rating of 750 kg and, of course, be in working order and registered.

We're looking for a used bar mower to maintain our orchard meadows.
It doesn’t matter if it’s two-stroke or four-stroke—at least for now.
Of course, it should be in working condition.

This year, we’ll once again be donating homemade cookies to organizations so they can be distributed to homeless people. Last year, we learned that many homeless people have specific requests, and we’d like to include a few of those in our donations. Vitamin effervescent tablets (individual tablets or in packets), instant terrines, and soups are in high demand. We appreciate everything—feel free to get creative!

We need seating for the refugee shelter where we go once a week to play and do crafts. Right now, we’re making do and painting wherever we can. But by fall at the latest, we’d like to be able to do our crafts and painting while sitting on suitable furniture. That’s why we’re looking for seating sets for children or tables and chairs at child height.

We need assistive devices such as walkers, wheelchairs, orthotics, and crutches. 

To support people with these needs, we need hygiene products. Please donate only new and unused items. 

We need sweatpants (for all genders) in sizes S–XXL. 
It’s best if the sweatpants aren’t in bright colors. 

They should be in good, wearable condition (no holes, clean). 

You can drop off donations on Thursdays from 5:00–8:00 p.m. 

Not everyone can afford cultural experiences. Social Inclusion Berlin is committed to helping homeless people, those struggling with addiction, people living in poverty, and those with mental health conditions participate more fully in society—including by attending cultural events.

Do you have unsold tickets? Whether it’s 2 or 10 free tickets—we appreciate every donation. We’ll distribute them to people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford to attend.

As a thank-you, we’d be happy to give your project visibility on our social media channels and on our blog. We’re also open to new partnerships and collaborative projects.

We are happy to pack small gifts for refugee children and women in need of protection at Christmas, but also on occasions such as Mother's Day and Easter. The partner organizations are initial reception centers for refugees, as well as the street work teams that reach homeless women, women in forced prostitution and in women's shelters. We like to wrap the gifts with our volunteers. 

We always look for the same product if it is available at least 20-100 times.
We are happy about every donation in this matter, it is best to contact us briefly to see if the donation fits the purpose.

Twice a year, we pack hygiene bags for around 500 vulnerable women in women's shelters, homeless women and women in forced prostitution. The small bags are very well received by the organizations, mainly because they make it easier for the street work teams to gain access to the women or to approach them with a small gift. We are also happy to take smaller quantities of the standard contents of the bag, including Tissuepacks, individually wrapped pads, tampons, lip balm.

You are also welcome to add other cosmetic items, but please do not add them individually, but in such a way that the product is sufficient for at least one institution (approx. 100 items).

The M.K. Humanus International Organization e.V. collects food donations for families in need, senior citizens and people with disabilities in our region.

We are looking for non-perishable foodstuffs such as rice, pasta, flour, sugar, oil, canned goods, pulses, coffee, tea and other basic foodstuffs.

The donations are collected by our organization, sorted and passed on to people in difficult life situations.

Any support helps to alleviate social hardship and provide concrete help to the people affected. Thank you very much for your support.

We are looking for used foosball tables for the common room at our shelter.

Unfortunately, our residents—especially the children and teenagers at our shelter—have limited access to outdoor and sports areas, so we would like to provide them with these options. We have already secured the help of particularly dedicated residents to look after the tables.

Our childcare program is looking for arts and crafts supplies (especially colored pencils and felt-tip pens, erasers, and pencil sharpeners, but also other supplies ranging from paper to paint to glue) as well as outdoor toys (especially badminton rackets, table tennis paddles, and balls of all kinds).

Since the childcare program needs to be completely rebuilt from scratch, we are currently looking for anything that might be useful in supporting and caring for the children living with us.

Rowing in the ZK10 only works as a team. 10 rowers and a helmsman need to work well together to achieve the goal. In a team, the participants learn to be considerate of each other and must agree on a common goal. Democracy and inclusion can be put into practice. People with disabilities can contribute according to their abilities and thus experience participation. Together, we look for ways to minimize or completely eliminate disabilities caused by external circumstances. Impressions of the start of our season on the water can be found on our website. The participants were a colorful mix from primary school age to pensioners, people with and without disabilities.

In our hospital, a volunteer escort service accompanies people to their appointments in the building. If they have difficulty walking or are weak, it would be a great help to the ladies if they could put the patients in a wheelchair and push them around the building/ make it easier and less strenuous for them to wait at elevators etc.. Unfortunately, these wheelchairs keep disappearing/being taken away. We would therefore urgently need a replacement and this time we would paint and mark it conspicuously so that it would hopefully be unattractive to take it away.

We are looking for wooden fence posts. Round or square does not matter. At least 160 cm high.
Background: We are setting aside land from industrial agriculture and forestry. Now we have an area of 52001m that is simply being used by a farmer. To prevent the area from being driven on, we need fence posts so that he can no longer drive there with his tractor. For this we need about 76 posts.... one every 2 meters.

Many people in our accommodation have only recently moved in, and there is a lack of many everyday items beyond the bare essentials. Therefore, we are looking for various items that residents can borrow when needed.

At the moment, we are especially looking for umbrellas of any kind (color and size do not matter). We need as many as possible—every single umbrella helps.

Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to pick up the umbrellas ourselves, and we also do not have the financial means to cover postage costs. For this reason, we would greatly appreciate it if kind donors could bring the umbrellas directly to us.

we are a shelter for refugees in Berlin and are looking for craft donations for our weekly afternoon project for the children. We would prefer a donation in kind, as we always buy specific things that fit into our program. As an example of what we need most are: Stickers, tape, markers, feathers etc.
At Christmas time, for example, we use glitter a lot, in summer we make garlands for outside.

We are looking for a couch that is not too big for our multi-purpose room. The most important thing is that the cover can be wiped clean (i.e. a smooth artificial leather surface) and that there are no cracks in the surface. Of course, the couch could look used, but not completely worn out.
In principle, it is conceivable that we could pick it up, but it would be even better if it could be delivered.

We are currently looking for used but well-functioning carpentry equipment as well as machines and tools for metalworking.
We are building vocational training workshops in Malawi in 2026 and hope for your help so that people can earn a living as carpenters and metalworkers.
