In-kind donation requests

Donations are what make our work most successful. However, if you would like to donate food directly to us, you can also make our guests happy. We ask that you bear a few things in mind:

We are happy about anything that enriches the breakfast for our guests. This could be homemade jam, cakes, fresh fruit and vegetables, yogurt or coffee. Or fresh bread rolls. Maybe hard-boiled eggs.

Unfortunately, we cannot use loose tea, honey or foods containing alcohol, such as chocolates or cakes containing alcohol. And importantly, the best-before date on industrially packaged food must be up to date. In addition, the packs must not have been opened, but must still be completely sealed.

And, very importantly, we only have limited space. So please call our breakfast room before dropping off your food:

Our team can then reliably tell you whether and how much we can accept. After all, we don't want any of your good gifts to go to waste!

For the upcoming spring/summer we are looking for outdoor games for our children and teenagers: Balls of all kinds (volleyball, soccer,...), badminton, tennis, skipping ropes, chalk, sandpit toys, juggling balls, Indiaka... anything that will amuse children and young people is very welcome! (= Please do not simply drop off donations, but contact our volunteer coordinator Lisa Wittmer in advance at "lisa.wittmer@ib.de" or by telephone on 0151-41422378. We look forward to hearing from you!

We are an initial reception center for refugees with many families and children. We would be very happy to receive donations of children's toys and bicycles, especially now in spring when the children are outside a lot again.

At Social Inclusion Berlin, we offer low-threshold and free sports activities for homeless people and people suffering from addiction. Small tournaments are held at each meeting and participants have the chance to experience success, which we celebrate with certificates, medals and small gifts.

Are there clubs or event organizers who have a lot of residual medals? They can all be different and already labeled. In the spirit of recycling, we then stick our stickers on the medal and reuse them.

Leftover trophies are also welcome!

At Social Inclusion Berlin, we offer low-threshold, free sports activities for homeless people and people suffering from addiction in order to promote social inclusion and support people who experience and suffer social exclusion and disadvantage in their everyday lives.

We are always on the lookout for new sports that require simple movement and maximize the sense of achievement.

In the summer of 2023 we played ladder golf and it would be great if we had a game or two for our club.

Does anyone have one of these at home and no longer needs it?

We are a refugee home in Marzahn. We would really appreciate a coat stand for our childcare facility. Then the children can hang their jackets on it while they are playing in the room, especially now in the cold season.

We urgently need more laptops for home visits by our social workers in the context of homelessness support, as otherwise we will not be able to work with our clients. Since we need to access Excel files and the like in a clearly readable way, a size of at least 14 inches would be great.

The emergency shelter on Goslarer Platz urgently needs donations. They are mainly looking for men's pants, including tracksuit bottoms, T-shirts and underwear for men and women. Warm sweaters, socks and warm shoes in men's sizes 42 to 46 are also needed. Also popular: gloves, scarves and hats.

A member of staff is at the emergency shelter every day between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. to accept the donations.
The emergency shelter is a cold aid project run by the Unionhilfwerk. It has space for 150 homeless people and can be found at Goslarer Platz 8.

Our organization helps people with a migration background and refugees to fill out digital applications at authorities such as the job center, immigration office and town hall. Many do not have a laptop or tablet and have little experience with digital processes. That's why we show them how they can complete online applications independently.

Our participants are trained so that they can complete digital administrative procedures independently. We are happy to receive new or used tablets in good condition.

For many homeless people, a working cell phone is the only way to stay in contact with support services or family/friends. Unfortunately, we lack cell phones and headphones - things that often lie unused in drawers.

Do you have an old, functioning cell phone or headphones to spare? Then donate them to the Homeless Day Center Schöneberg!

A pair of warm socks or fresh underwear - a given for many of us, but often a luxury for homeless people. Socks and underwear (for men and women) are urgently needed at the Schöneberg day centre for homeless people.

Our volunteer paramedics are on call around the clock to provide medical care to people at events and in emergencies. To ensure that our ambulances are always ready for action, we need support with the fuel costs. Our rescue boats don't run on their own either and even the boat training for our volunteers in the water rescue service requires a lot of fuel.

You can help us by donating fuel vouchers! This will ensure that our first-aid service and water rescue service remain mobile and that people in need can be helped quickly.

Our DRK-Kreisverband Dresden e.V. is committed to feeding people at events and on missions. We use a field stove to prepare hot meals - whether for helpers or people in need.

To keep the stove in operation, we urgently need filled gas cylinders. Every donation helps us to continue cooking reliably and doing good.

Our shared accommodation for particularly vulnerable refugees would be delighted to receive a donation of German learning materials. The exercise books, books and other materials can also be used if they still in a good condition. 
We would like to use them as part of the language café and for the volunteer work. And we will also make them available in the freely accessible learning area for adults at the Refugium.

Baby carriages for children from 1 year

We have a lot of children living with us and we would love to make our own music in our childcare and offer music courses. If you have any old flutes, xylophones, keyboards, drums or similar that are just gathering dust - we would be delighted to receive any musical donations that are no longer just a waste of time.

We need sleeping bags for people who have lost their homes in Ukraine and find themselves living on the streets of their country. Winter is coming and a sleeping bag can save a life. 

We are looking for socks for adults, mostly men that will be donated to a refugee center that we help as an organization, reports will be sent to donors when donations arrive at their destination.

We are always looking for animal food (especially cat, dog and rabbit food) and accessories for our partner organizations.

For reasons of hygiene, the food must be sealed and still have a shelf life. All other donations in kind should be in good condition and clean.

Donations can be handed over by arrangement.

We are looking for musical instruments that children can learn to play free of charge in our children's and family centers.

We are looking for computers to help people in Ukraine to stay connected and so that children can stay in school remotely. They are really very important. We can coordinate with our volunteers for a better collection.

We need up to 20 insulating covers

We're very worried about Marcelino and Winnetou at the moment: they are ill and even our vet is at a loss. The two of them are eating their food aplenty and are still losing weight. We would like to ask you to donate food to get them back on track: Hay cobs, carrots, bananas, apples, meadow cobs, malt beer, naturally cloudy apple juice with no added sugar or mash are more than welcome!

We are looking for a serviceable older tractor model for cultivating our meadows.
Ideal would be:

- light, small turning circle
- built up to 1999
- approx. 35hp
- Road approval DE
- Three-point KAT I / II rear, rear power take-off

Machines of the type "Aebi", "vineyard tractor", "orchard tractor", "Antonio Carrara", "Holder", "Reform Metrac", "Lindner" would be ideal.

Hello, as a city garden we need new wooden raised beds. Maybe someone has something like this and can donate it to us.
Or we can build raised beds ourselves from used Euro pallets.
