In-kind donation requests

Many people in our accommodation have only recently moved in, and there is a lack of many everyday items beyond the bare essentials. Therefore, we are looking for various items that residents can borrow when needed.

At the moment, we are especially looking for umbrellas of any kind (color and size do not matter). We need as many as possible—every single umbrella helps.

Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to pick up the umbrellas ourselves, and we also do not have the financial means to cover postage costs. For this reason, we would greatly appreciate it if kind donors could bring the umbrellas directly to us.

We urgently need BVG tickets for people who have official appointments or doctors' appointments. We would be grateful for any single ticket, half-used monthly pass, 4-trip ticket, etc... Every ticket helps!

For our inclusive adventure camps, we are currently looking for board games that promote shared experiences, togetherness and fun.

Our activities are aimed at children and young people with and without disabilities. Board games in particular create valuable moments of exchange, cooperation and shared laughter - regardless of individual abilities.

we are a shelter for refugees in Berlin and are looking for craft donations for our weekly afternoon project for the children. We would prefer a donation in kind, as we always buy specific things that fit into our program. As an example of what we need most are: Stickers, tape, markers, feathers etc.
At Christmas time, for example, we use glitter a lot, in summer we make garlands for outside.

We are looking for a couch that is not too big for our multi-purpose room. The most important thing is that the cover can be wiped clean (i.e. a smooth artificial leather surface) and that there are no cracks in the surface. Of course, the couch could look used, but not completely worn out.
In principle, it is conceivable that we could pick it up, but it would be even better if it could be delivered.

Water bombs, pens, paints (e.g. acrylic), all kinds of paper, children's make-up, polystyrene balls, masks, stickers, crepe paper, spray paint, T-shirts for painting and textile paint, glitter, wooden discs, wooden balls, beads, coloring blocks, modeling clay, balloons, etc.

Our psychologist would like a small sofa for the counseling room. The color and appearance don’t matter; the only important thing is that it’s in good condition.

We are currently looking for used but well-functioning carpentry equipment as well as machines and tools for metalworking.
We are building vocational training workshops in Malawi in 2026 and hope for your help so that people can earn a living as carpenters and metalworkers.

Giving well-preserved items a second life, acting sustainably and at the same time making children's hearts beat faster; these are the goals with which we run our second-hand store for children "LüttePlünn". In the store, you can find beautiful items of clothing from size 50 to 140 at great prices, as well as toys in good condition, exciting children's books and a friendly team of advisors. The proceeds from the sales are used to support social projects in the neighborhood. We also use the donations once a month to stock our mobile clothing store, which provides families with free clothing.

We are happy to accept donations in kind. Just drop by LüttePlünn during our opening hours. We only accept washed clothes up to size 140. Also toys and children's books in good condition.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept the following items: Baby carriages, child seats, infant carriers, inline skates, bicycles, bicycle helmets.

In our volunteering office in southern Neukölln, we regularly hold counselling sessions with volunteers and those seeking support. In addition to our office, we also run a small neighborhood meeting place. In order to provide a more pleasant, inviting atmosphere in our premises, we are looking for furniture donations:
- ideally a sofa
- or 2-3 armchairs
- a small table

We are looking for laptops, preferably with current operating software (Windows 11), with camera, microphone, wifi, bluetooth, charger. The battery does not necessarily have to be in working order.

Our accommodation for refugees is looking for simple, used digital cameras for an upcoming project in which young residents learn photography together with a professional photographer in a series of workshops. It is particularly important that the cameras allow manual image settings. Both compact cameras and system cameras with the appropriate lens are of interest.

The aim of the workshops is to empower the residents to capture their everyday life photographically, but also to express themselves through the art form of photography and to process what they have experienced.

At the end of the project, a photo exhibition is planned in the accommodation; a public exhibition of the resulting works is also planned, but not yet finalized.

At our emergency shelter for homeless men at Ohlauer Str. 22 in Berlin-Kreuzberg, we are always in urgent need of clothing for our homeless guests:

- Men's clothing: jackets, pants, T-shirts, underwear in good condition, sweaters, hats, scarves, gloves

- Hygiene articles (new): Shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrushes, disposable razors,

- Tents, sleeping mats, sleeping bags

at Refugium Lichtenberg there is an increasing need for baby carriages. We would be delighted to receive individual donations!

For a new cycling course for refugee women in our accommodation, as well as for use in leisure time, we are looking for approx. 8 women's bikes.

Our guests look forward to a hot cup of coffee every morning and afternoon.
With up to 600 guests a day, we need 100 liters of coffee and therefore 10 packs of ground coffee a day.

We are happy about every donation of ground coffee to be able to cover the supply with increasing numbers of guests.

We are looking for a table tennis table for the outdoor area of our transitional accommodation for homeless people in Frankfurt-Griesheim, which can be set up there permanently and used primarily by children and young people.

To prevent our "Struwwi moms", their babies and children (and of course the dads ☺️) from getting sunburnt on our outdoor area, we urgently need two large new parasols with UV protection. Unfortunately, one has lost its "cape", which has broken over the years, and the other has broken rails that are now hanging down dangerously - but we can't do without it, we need the shade.
