About the volunteering opportunity

People from different countries live in shared accommodation for asylum seekers and refugees. Among them are many families with children who are very happy to receive support. The accommodation is located in Messestadt München. You will be accompanied by Diakonie specialists during an introductory meeting and during your involvement in the accommodation.

Your Tasks

We are currently looking for:

Reinforcement for homework supervision on Friday afternoons (from 4 p.m.)
Organization of soccer training for the children and young people once a week
Support for a single mother in organizing her everyday life and contact with the authorities

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.

For all tasks you need:

Empathy
Patience
Willingness to get involved with strangers

Approx. 2 hours per week

A current extended certificate of good conduct is required. We will support you with the application
