About the volunteering opportunity
People from marginalized groups often face particular challenges online: They are disproportionately affected by hate and their issues are often overheard. They therefore withdraw from public debates. We want to change this with our new working group. Together, we want to create digital spaces that focus on respect, visibility and cohesion.
What the working group is about:
We are developing strategies to make the concerns of marginalized groups visible, protect them from hate online and strengthen digital solidarity. You can contribute your ideas and actively participate in campaigns and projects.

ichbinhier e.V.
The ichbinhier e.V. originated from the Facebook action group #ichbinhier. We are the legal form that builds and offers awareness-raising and educational work based on the experiences of the group members' daily counter-speech work. We give talks, advise companies, other associations, political institutions and many more on the topic of hate speech online. We also offer practical training for counter-speech in our boot camps.
