As part of a team, coordinate the short-term loan of wheelchairs etc. to people who urgently need them.
In this cool project of the DRK-Kreisverband Dresden e.V., we offer short-term loans of wheelchairs, rollators and crutches to people who would otherwise not have easy access to these aids. You probably know the situation - mom comes to visit for the weekend and can't walk very well... or you're on vacation in Dresden and have unfortunately broken your foot and still want to explore the city.

The DRK's mission is to help people in need and improve their quality of life. This project aims to provide short-term and uncomplicated access to mobility aids. Through this commitment, you help people in difficult situations to maintain their mobility and independence. This can be a huge relief for those affected and their families.
Your Tasks
As part of our rental team, you will be given a company cell phone so that you can take meaningful action:
- Organizing and planning the collection and return of aids.
- Documentation of loans and returns.
- Checking the wheelchair "fleet" and, if necessary, working your magic to get the wheelchair back on the road
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
You are exactly right if:
- You want to and can organize your time freely
- You like to work independently and don't always have to be around people
- You are still polite and open towards relatives who want to borrow wheelchairs

The wheelchairs and rollators can only be borrowed and returned when YOU have time!
