About the volunteering opportunity
We want to do something for our environment on Earth Day and strengthen people's appreciation of the topic. There will be a short talk on environmental protection and waste separation and then refugee residents and volunteers will collect garbage around the Anker Dependance Am Moosfeld in Riem/Trudering.
The meeting point is at 10:00 am in front of the accommodation. At 1 pm there will be a joint snack for all helpers. Bags, gloves and tools will be provided.
Your Tasks
You get into conversation with the refugees and collect garbage in the neighborhood.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
You are interested in environmental protection and flight and migration. You are open and flexible and not afraid to talk to people.

The refugees have only recently arrived in Germany and don't speak German very well yet.

The employees of our social and migration services often know the challenges from their own experience. They know where to start in order to begin a new life in a foreign country.
