About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for people who regularly support us in looking after our little ones in the house. Whether reading aloud, painting, doing handicrafts, helping in our garden or going to the playground together. The possibilities are numerous - our social care worker would be delighted if you would like to support him in his work.

Support for our afternoon childcare: reading aloud, painting, handicrafts, gardening, visits to the playground etc. pp.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
- Experience and pleasure in working with children and young people
- Openness and tolerance in dealing with people from other cultures
- Empathy, patience and reliability in dealing with children
- Note: An extended certificate of good conduct is mandatory. We will help you with the application.

- For the time being, the time frame is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3.00-5.00 pm

Since 25.06.2016, Albatros gGmbH has been operating the community accommodation for refugees. The GU Gehrenseestr. with a capacity for 200 people almost exclusively accommodates families from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.
