Become a mentor for young adults

Our mentoring projects "Outlook" and "MISA 1.0" support young people in an in-company apprenticeship and accompany them from the start of their careers through to successful completion.

Our mentees are in an in-company training program and participate in the project voluntarily. They wish to be accompanied by a mentor for a variety of reasons, be it support in concrete conflict situations in the company or assistance with a personal challenge. The focus here is on integration into working life, the most comprehensive possible examination of the occupational field, and the successful completion of training.

Your Tasks

Experienced mentors encourage young people in training on their way through life. The open exchange of professional and life experience is the top priority: the mentorship lives and benefits from personal stories and perspectives. Over time, a relationship of trust develops, which allows constructive feedback and creates openness and understanding - on both sides.

What's needed

Our mentors come from many different professional backgrounds and are between 25 and 67 years old. They volunteer in our project for about one year and support the young people in their personal and professional development in addition to their professional activities.

Time required
