Get involved in intercultural exchange in Göttingen

If we want to bring the world together, we need to understand it. And to understand it, we need to get to know it.

As a volunteer member of AIESEC, you will help young people like you to have an unforgettable and educational stay abroad.

But you will also develop yourself personally. With your membership you will take on different positions within the organisation, gain practical experience in various areas and get to know the structures of an international organisation.
This gives you the opportunity to develop leadership skills while you are still a student* and to enable others to develop these skills .

*You do not have to be a student to join us.

You can volunteer with us in various teams:

• Partnership & Sales: Work closely with companies & organisations in your area and build long-term partnerships to enable foreign students in Germany to have an exchange stay.
• Customer Experience: Be responsible for the core of our vision: to give young people the best experience abroad. Arrange and supervise exchange programs for young people between 18 and 30 years of age to Germany or abroad.
• Finance & Legal: For anyone who has or wants to gain experience in finance. Steer our investments at a local level and gain experience in accounting.
• Marketing & Events: We have teams in some cities that coordinate our campus activities. Get our target audience excited about one of our exchange programs through targeted activities.

You should be between 18-30 years old.

Currently, most activities take place at the Georg-August university. Therefore, it would be great if you are in the city during the week :)

Since we want to give all young people the opportunity to try out, develop, and become members, there are no other requirements.

On average, you should have 10 hours a week for the engagement. These 10 hours are flexible: Besides team meetings (day and time depending on the team with agreement) and other activities, the rest of the commitment is freely selectable, so whether in the evening, during the day, weekend, etc..
