About the volunteering opportunity

"Do good and talk about it" is the name of a standard work in public relations. As a registered association, we have been successfully promoting intercultural communication in the Stuttgart area for 21 years. However, as our team is very small, many tasks are shared. That's why we are regularly looking for technically-savvy volunteers who would like to get involved in our association.

In recent years, we have mainly worked with social media. We hope to experience more outreach by focusing more on traditional mass media (newspaper, radio, television). To expand our press section, we first need your fresh ideas in creating a concept.

Your Tasks

Your fields of activity are:

  • Research, correspondence and contact management
  • Development and maintenance of our distribution list
  • Writing press releases

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.

You should bring with you

  • a strong interest in intercultural communication (especially in our association)
  • friendly, open manner and expressiveness in speech and writing
  • Basic understanding of how journalists think and work

Time required
