About the volunteering opportunity

"Do good and talk about it" is the name of a standard work in public relations. As a registered association, we have been successfully promoting intercultural communication in the Stuttgart area for 21 years. However, as our team is very small, many tasks are shared. That's why we are regularly looking for technically-savvy volunteers who would like to get involved in our association.

Besides cultural events like concerts or readings, we also organise panel discussions, meeting dates and project weekends. These have to be accompanied by media for the social media, but also for our archive.

Your Tasks

  • Setting up and operating cameras (both static and moving)
  • Preparing photos and videos for social media and our homepage
  • Assistance with the planning and execution of livestreams

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
You should have the following skills:

  • Experience in using SLR cameras and video recorders ( experience in image and video editing also desirable)
  • Flexibility for project/event-related work
  • no fear of contact with artists, project participants and the audience
