About the volunteering opportunity

It's about a project developed by teenagers and young adults in Cologne.

It's about the topic that gets too little attention in school and university: Information and conversations around mental health.

The project team organizes a monthly regulars' table (online or present) to discuss a topic around mental illness / mental health in a relaxed atmosphere and to enable an exchange of experiences. For this purpose, interviews with experts are conducted.

Especially in times of the Corona pandemic, this project has an important impact! The peer-to-peer approach works. The activities are authentic because they were developed by young people.

Your Tasks

The project team is looking for teenagers and young adults aged 18 and over who are keen to develop this important project. There is a good structure in place. The following tasks you could take over:

  • Conduct interviews with experts (gladly also in pairs)
  • Editing articles and post them on the homepage
  • Involvement in promoting the offer (online distribution, social media, presentation)

The tasks are well suited to make them mostly also from home. Currently there is a weekly online team meeting of about 1 hour.
