What is this commitment about?
Wild birds in urban and industrial areas are finding it increasingly difficult to find enough food for themselves and their young throughout the year due to changing climatic and environmental conditions. By feeding wild birds, you help native species to stay well-fed throughout the year and at the same time have the opportunity to observe the little flyers at close range.

With our 5-minute commitments, we want to inspire you to easily integrate commitment into your everyday life. They are independent of charitable organizations and allow you to make an individual commitment to people and nature in your neighbourhood.
Your Tasks
Install a feeding station for wild birds in your neighborhood, your garden or on your balcony.
Whether you prefer to set up a bird feeder or hang up the classic tit dumplings is up to you and your resources.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
To set up the feeder, no special prior knowledge is necessary. If you want to build a bird feeder yourself, basic craftsmanship skills may be helpful.
Time required

Depending on how elaborately designed your feeding station should be, your commitment can last from a few minutes to 1-2 hours. You should also take a moment to inform yourself about species-appropriate food.
