Support us digitally with the member care of our animal protection association

For us, looking after members is very important. We answer all questions about membership and the association or direct them to the right channels. We welcome new members and want to inspire even more people for our work.

To be able to tackle all the issues, we are looking for volunteers for the area of member support to build it and support. Together we can create new concepts, carry out projects and take the area to the next level.

Your Tasks

• Create concepts and help build processes
• Support members and answer questions about membership, as well as about the association
• Participate in regular exchanges within the association and the team

What's needed

• You are a good networker, you like to communicate (with attention to spelling and grammar) and are good at building relationships with other people?
• You are interested in animal welfare and are willing to fill gaps in your know-how through appropriate seminars and courses and to develop yourself for your volunteer work if necessary.
• You are a team player with organizational skills, have initiative, are communicative and reliable.
• You are confident in dealing with the MS Office package and are open to new tools.
• You are creative and also have a desire to learn and try something new.
• You are available a few hours per week (variable - the area gives a lot of room for individual planning, min. 2-4 hours/week is expected).

Time required

You can arrange your time flexibly in consultation with the team and can work from home at any time. There are certain areas of responsibility that are divided among the team. For us, remote working has always been a practice and we all enjoy working together virtually.

Important notice

We often have interested people who initially want to help us, but then don't complete their tasks or realize they don't have time after all and don't do the things they agreed to do. When you apply to join us, please remember that the work must actually get done. Despite the voluntary support we still need a certain reliability, because we are an association in growth and want to be perceived professionally in the circle of our adopters. The work and coordination in the team is very important for us despite mainly virtual work - we are an association and live this. We all hope that after Corona we will be able to see more club life in person.

This project is location independent.

We are a small animal welfare association in the Rhine-Main area that focuses on the protection of and help for cats and dogs in need. We work throughout Germany and with partner organisations in Spain. Our work is based on three main areas of education, spaying/neutering and animal placement/adoption and we work entirely on a voluntary basis.
