Help a woman deepen her knowledge of German

In the mentoring project of our volunteering office MARIE, people from Berlin who want to support other people find each other. We are looking for committed people who accompany refugees or other groups of people with support needs and make it easier for them to arrive in a new environment. Personal contact at eye level helps people to get to know each other better and to learn from each other. Prejudices can thus be reduced and replaced by shared experiences.

We offer you: individual support and advice, a regular training program, joint recreational events, access to free offers of cultural events, issuance of certificates of commitment, if necessary (BVG) travel reimbursement.

A woman (early 40s) from Jordan would like support in improving her language skills. She speaks fluent German and works as a district mother. Nevertheless, she would like to perfect her language skills and would particularly like support in improving her writing and reading skills. She would therefore be happy to read and do writing exercises together, which should also be corrected.

If she is interested, the learning meetings could also take place digitally. She also offers to teach Arabic skills in return.
