About the volunteering opportunity
You are responsible for the vehicles, the associated equipment and devices. You carry out the checks and ensure the operational capability and pay particular attention to the TÜV dates.
Your Tasks
o Inventory recording and vehicle equipment control
o Processing requisitions, retirement and replacements
o Receiving, returning and exchanging vehicle equipment
o Processing and monitoring of inspection and time schedules
o Execution of technical services
o Carrying out motorist training and education
o Preparation of accident reports and damage reports
o Technical inspection after repairs
o Registration and maintenance of vehicles in the DRK server
o Storage as well as care and maintenance of vehicles and related equipment
What's needed
Possible extensive knowledge and experience from the areas of automotive mechanics and logistics. Good knowledge of PC with the most common IT programs.
Permission to drive vehicles over 3.5t (driving license class C+CE)
You also need a comprehensive technical understanding, organizational and communication skills. In addition, it would be great if you are reliable and responsible.
Time required
You can divide your time, since the vehicles are at a separate location, individually.
Exceptions: TÜV (Technical Supervisory Association) appointments, since they are mandatory to comply with.
