We are your community! You want to get involved in Kassel for more educational justice and equal access to university? Then you've come to the right place. We tell our story and thus encourage others to study. With low-threshold information, we support and encourage prospective students, students and parents. There are regular meetings, events in schools and info booths at fairs. We not only help others, but also support each other. The committed people at ArbeiterKind.de are mostly first-generation students themselves.

Your Tasks

We are looking for support in our 3 areas of volunteering:

- Events for pupils (e.g. at schools) and for students (e.g. at university)

- Support for those seeking advice through needs-based mentoring (e.g. for questions about applying to university)

- Group organization (maintenance of email inbox, open meetings, social media ...)

What's needed

You do not need any special requirements for your commitment. We will accompany you when you start your commitment and give you helpful tips and material. You are also welcome to participate in our regularly offered qualification measures. Whenever you have questions, you can contact your state coordinator.

Time required

We support and accompany all those who (want to) be the first in their family to study. Be part of it and get involved for more educational justice and equal access to higher education.
