Cooking at the youth center Käfertal - Support a cooking course for children and teenagers

In the youth center Käfertal there are many different offers such as billiards, darts, air field hockey, table tennis, table football, X-Box, Nintendo Wii, various board and card games. In the basement there is a bowling alley and the outdoor area offers space to play soccer or basketball. We at youngcaritas - the volunteer organization for young adults - offer a weekly children's cooking class on site.

The cooking class takes place every Wednesday from 3 to 5 pm in Käfertal Youth Center (Dürkheimer Str. 88). Together with the children we cook delicious dishes,... playful and child-friendly. You enjoy working with children? ...and you would like to work together with other young people to make healthy eating an everyday topic for children? Then we look forward to getting to know you.

Your Tasks

To participate in the cooking class, you don't have to be super talented in cooking or know the ins and outs of nutrition tables. In the children's cooking course we do not count calories ;) - instead, we explain what else can be made from potatoes besides French fries.

There is also room for your own ideas, your favorite recipe and creative design at the children's cooking course!
