About the volunteering opportunity
For our project (Taste of Malawi) as well as for our fashion brand (INO) we run two websites based on WordPress. We would now like to relaunch the Taste of Malawi project website: The goal is an informative, easy-to-maintain, bilingual and appealing website. Together in the team we have already collected some ideas and are looking forward to further suggestions. This position is part of our international offsite team and a commitment beyond this project is of course possible!
Your Tasks
- Developing concrete ideas / proposals for a website (e.g. regarding functionality, content structure, visual design and maintenance)
- Supporting the programming of the new website
- Developing a new multilingual web design
What's needed
- Knowledge of WordPress
- First experience in programming
- Fluency in English
Time required
Depending on your capacities, you can complete the project within a few weeks or work on it over a longer period of time. We can be flexible with you about how much time you would like to contribute. Between 1 to 5 hours a week, anything is possible!

Taste of Malawi e.V.
Taste of Malawi e.V. is a global learning project consisting of an offsite volunteering team that supports a tailoring project in Malawi and thus accompanies women on their way to independence. Our women in Malawi learn tailoring skills as well as business skills and other abilities to earn their living after the training. Since we are an international team, we work together primarily digitally, which is exciting, sometimes very creative and above all very enriching!
