About the volunteering opportunity
As the Forum of Cultures, we are committed to intercultural dialogue, cultural diversity and equal participation of migrants and their descendants in social and cultural life. Together with our members and partners, we work against exclusion, prejudice, racism and discrimination and for the intercultural opening of institutions, offices and associations. Our office is at the center of broad-based interculturally active networks. We conceive and realize interculturally oriented cultural festivals, thematic series, workshops, information events, conferences as well as the intercultural magazine IN MAGAZIN. Many of the Forum's offers are also aimed at the more than 300 (post-)migrant organizations and initiatives that are active in the greater Stuttgart area with valuable work.
We employees of the Forum of Cultures are always keen to reflect on our work and design offers in line with needs. This also includes good documentation of projects and events carried out. We are therefore always on the lookout for people who would like to support us on a voluntary basis in taking minutes of our events.
Your Tasks
Support us as a volunteer in taking minutes and be part of exciting events. You will always receive information about the respective events in advance and in personal conversations all details will be discussed and open questions clarified.
What's needed
Commitment and Reliability are the essential requirements that you should bring. Good written and spoken German are also necessary.
Interested? Then feel free to send us an email at ehrenamt@forum-der-kulturen.de or a message here on vostel. We are looking forward to you. :)
