Life and terminal care in hospice service

- Hospice Work
About the volunteering opportunity
In the hospice service, voluntary life and terminal companions help people and their relatives to spend the remaining time of their lives with as much dignity as possible. Supported by full-time hospice staff, you accompany them through the time of letting go, saying goodbye and mourning.
At home, in the nursing home or in the hospital, because we find: A dignified farewell to life does not need a special place, because hospice can be everywhere!
Your Tasks
You are there for dying people and those close to them, taking time to create a sense of security and safety and to enable encounters.
Counseling and support in personal, nursing and social questions at the end of life are also part of the accompaniment.
