About the volunteering opportunity
To support the children and youth coordinator, the reception center Askanierring is looking for volunteers to accompany the activities for young people. We have two rooms dedicated to young people in the facility - sometimes there are activity offers for young people and at other times these rooms serve as common rooms for young people to spend their free time together.
It would be great if the volunteers could spend time with them, offer them a sympathetic ear or organize something of their own and keep order from time to time (no supervisory duties!).
Your Tasks
- Spend time with the young refugees;
- listen to the young people when they need it;
- possibly offer their own activities (on request);
- keep order.
