About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for volunteers for an inclusive team of reporters in the "Office for Easy Language" of Lebenshilfe Berlin. The committed are invited reporter*innen with learning difficulties or cognitive impairment to events to accompany, about which they want to write later, film or make a podcast.
We wish to hear from interested persons fun and interest in journalistic work. Previous knowledge would enrich us, but is not necessary. It would be nice if in the long term a joint inclusive cooperation would arise, so that a joint contribution of reporter with impairment and the companion would arise. We give all participants room for their own creativity and ideas.
A stability of the accompaniment for at least a year is desirable.

What's needed
Open-mindedness for inclusion and diversity in living together in our society.
Time required
The reporter team meets once a week online. This takes place on Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
In addition, individual appointments can be made, e.g. accompaniment to events.
Important notice
In the facilities and services of Lebenshilfe Berlin, the facility-based vaccination obligation exists from 16.3.2022.
