Support for environmental education programs

We offer many educational activities on the topics of climate protection, ecological gardening and cooking and need your support! We run workshops with different target groups (between kindergarten age and senior citizens, people who speak little German, people with disabilities...). They take place in the garden as well as in other locations in the Soldiner Kiez

Your Tasks

Help with the preparation of workshops (e.g. going to the print store or shopping)

Support preparation on site (materials, tables and benches etc)

Support implementation and documentation

Support follow-up

What's needed

You should have experience with educational activities, as well as an interest in the topic of climate protection

Time required

We are looking for people who can help us regularly - at least one or two workshops per month. Each time about 3 hours. These activities usually take place between April and October (but also in other months)

Important notice

The himmelbeet is a social and ecological garden. Actually, two gardens! To the question, what himmelbeet is, there are certainly more answers than worms in our compost. If we should say what drives us to maintain it, it is the formulation of a claim: The good life for all. An attempt. No more, but also no less.
