A non-profit gastronomy and cultural project in Frankfurt's city center

The encounter project was opened in September 2023 as a cooperation between ASB Frankfurt and Über den Tellerrand Frankfurt.

The World Kitchen takes place as a feel-good place at changing locations in the middle of Frankfurt city center. A variety of gastronomic and cultural encounters are created, bringing people from different cultures together.

The creators are people with and without a refugee background who form a voluntary team that enriches Frankfurt's urban society with a multicultural format. Guests are Frankfurters who are given access to the cultures. We want to break down barriers, make people curious about each other, promote an open exchange between cultures and celebrate together. In this form, the project is unique in Frankfurt.

We are looking for many hard-working, motivated, creative and reliable helpers to help shape the project! You can help in the kitchen, bar or service, social media, planning and organization, programme design and other areas.
